Compared to to say Goodwood or Sandown Park it is ...

Compared to to say Goodwood or Sandown Park it is slightly down market as regards to facilities. However the setting and the course itself is comparable to any other racecourse. If the wind is blowing in a certain direction it can be freezing otherwise it could be rather pleasant. The parking is free and everyone is rather friendly and you can see most of the course as the horses race round the track. Pleasant experience.
