We all realise that times have progressed and there are bound to be new operational requrements to manage this very special resource.
My only and serious bone of contention is regarding the movement of staff inside the park.
For years as you also mention, it was that special time of day at sunrise when you get up early to be first out the gate, or that late last minute drive before the camp gates close when the most memorable sightings were seen.
Today it is absolutely a disappointment only to see numerous and often very fast driving vehicles transporting staff at exactly those most precious times of the viewing experience charging to get out of the park or to get to another camp.
Please can the restrictions on staff movements again be implemented so that they travel at least an hour after standard gate opening time, or after closing times.
I have also been witness to staff vehicles been allowed to access 15 or 30 minutes before opening time whilst we an other visitors are waiting in line to enter the park or to leave our camp.
What is the point of being the early riser if any animals that do rest on or close to the roads will always be driven away by the vehicles whose occupants do not care about the animal sightings or the expectations of paying visitors to get that special experiences of yesteryear
