I've been living at The Charles Apartment for 6 mo...

I've been living at The Charles Apartment for 6 months. The rooms are spacious and my apartment wooden floors which is a plus. The apartment is right across the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus.

Pro:
So close to the Johns Hopkins University home wood campus. You literally cross the road and you are on campus.
Management is friendly and courteous.
Maintenance staff are friendly.
Location feels safe and campus patrol is within the vicinity.
Convenience stores, restaurants, pharmacies are within walking distance (Honeygrow, Chipotle, CVS, MedStar Hospital..)
The location is accessible to the Collegetown shuttle, free Charm City bus and MTA buses.

Cons:
Maintenance issues sometimes take longer than 24 hrs to get fixed
Not very suitable for families with young children since the building is in close proximity to roads
No parking garage, swimming pool or gym

Overall, The Charles is a great apartment and the management is awesome!
