Yesterday was my second time here, sad to say it was disappointing. The food is good and it helps me overlook the tight sitting. But what killed the experience for my girlfriend and I was the rude waiter we had upstairs. He didn't introduce his name and overall he had this condescending aura around him. When ordering, i asked for the special. It didn't hit me due to the language it was written on that it was for wednesdays only. Before I said my second choice he rushed me and pointed at something for me to get and said "you can have this for a 'lighter diet'". I felt fat after that. It was disturbingly rude. I felt really rushed. The place just wants you to eat and get out. Its not very nice to customers. Our rude waiter never came to check on us to see if we needed anything else. There were used and empty dishes from our appetizer that never left our table. When he came to refill our water. He only refilled my girlfriends glass and left mine. Note both the water levels in our glasses were the same. When we finished eating my gf and I were having a lovely convo. It was her birthday too. The waiter gave us the bill without our asking. We were having a good time together so we just wanted to stay for just a little bit more time but he came back 10 minutes later, aggressively placed his palm on the bill, looked at me and said "do you need change". I was so turned off. My gf was saddened we had to cut our convo off. This place has the WORST service, small, tight and loud spaces. It's a get in get your food get out place. If you want to stay awhile, eat slow and keep ordering. The only selling point in this resto is the food, which by the way you can get at Gusto. They serve the same food. Same owner I believe. Its better there. Friendlier staff, more open and you won't feel rushed. Theres something seriously wrong with the culture here at nervosa. I'll never come back and will not recommend this to my friends.
