On 11 January 2019 we ate together with Intenzo. Despite being around five o'clock, we were kindly received and it was no problem that we were so early.

The service was perfect all evening, in the hands of the two hosts. The evening started with an amuse of the house, that's how it should be! Then we started with a break roll, which was delicious, although it could have had a pinch of salt.

Then we took a starter that really tasted fantastic. At the tartare was a pickled egg yolk, which could be grated by the brine. This was done at the table which provided a good experience and a fantastic taste. This shows the creativity of the kitchen staff.

The mains were also delicious. I myself had a pasta with truffle and my friend the big shrimp. Both were delicious and a good portion. The only improvement point is the lack of salt and pepper on the table. The dishes were to taste, but a pinch of pepper and salt are always nice as everyone has a different taste.

In short, it was a great experience and a must for everyone. If you need a delicious Italian dinner with great staff, then Intenzo is the right place. Hopefully they will quickly come to my hometown Amersfoort, because a restaurant like this is not there yet! ;)
