I Have selected one star, but i truly not even wanted to pick that.
HR or whomsoever of Lowe's India, Dated 1.6.2019 Lowes India (Manyata tech part) has conducted walk-in drive with an outline saying
"We are looking for candidates with an experience of 2-15 years in accounts payable, Financial reporting and statement analysis and exposure to GAAP and SOX"
The message to the job seekers are so stright forward that candidates with 2 to 15 years upon mentioning all major areas of accounting and finance , so obvious that people who care seeking jobs and who fall into this category sure gonna appear to the door.
questions, why there is no prior plans not been made to control and manage the crowd?it was so embrassing that the concerned people of lowes have not taken care of the candidates properly upon that they dont have peoper facilities of atleast workable mike truly in that hot sun so tiring day from morning 7:30 to till 11 clock they all were making us run around the campus and made us (us includes more than 1000 job seekers) to stand in the campus. They took almost one hour to collect the resume's that the person who is standing and was leading the show doesnt had proper vocal strength which were not able to hear anything in the crowd and the mike which they used is of waste which wasnt helpful. finally all seekers tried sending the resume like literally passing hand in hand (that we are not sure whether my resume has been reached to the right person ) and final conclusion is all people whos experencie is above 7 years registration is closed. it was such an irritating statement from the Lowes.
Just a question, if you doesnt have any idea of how to plan or how to manage if its going out of control. Do really such big companies still need proper trainings specific to these things. i say its YES and MUST , because these are common sense, please work on this. Because of your neglegence of no proper planning made people feel bad as they reached early and literally roaming and stood as per your orders in that hot sun without food or any cares. And , also its so minutes that there are so many people who might have reached there by borrwing money from someelse or few people might have come from different cities just to attend. there are so many it was so bad attempt from "Lowes"wholly .
I think probably you might have just collected and kept 1000 and odd resumes but request not to throw just sit and work and try to choose the best for your company, which helps a big 50 fortune company of yours to adopt a culture and sensible towards plannning going forward.
"this is so funny, a security was using a proper mike to order people out there, but a HR or the person running the show was using a mike which literally not working" one point of time felt like taking that mike out of security hand and give it to show runner.
Its an efforts of conveying the same as the walkin drive of yours was literally a flop show on front and seekers were literally disvalued by looking at an unapologetic show of yours.
