Went in for an interview for a video position. The staff and employee's were very nice. I was told that to be considered for the position I would have to complete a test. They didn't give me any clear directions or instructions for the test - just that I complete it following the client's guidelines. I had to set aside 2 days from my current job to complete the test, and ended up not getting the job. Was also later told later that I violated many of the guidelines? (None that were listed in the guideline packet they gave me), and that I wouldn't be able to use the video that, I spent two days working on, in my portfolio because it was "client property" and that I couldn't use test work for "personal gain", which is absurd. Previous companies ive done tests for have allowed me to use test material in my portfolio. They seriously need to treat applicants with more respect aswell as be more organized.
