Our loved one was brought to HBH as part of a 72 hour hold after a suicide attempt. She stayed one week and was transferred to a RTC. Reading the reviews before hand, we were extremely afraid sending her here. However, our experience with HBH was a positive one. The staff were friendly and communicative, the facility clean and not too hospital like. We received daily updates from the Doctor or social worker and were able to get hold of them when we had questions. HBH did exactly what we needed them to do, that is, make sure our loved one was stabilized and no longer a danger to herself. I bet the success of the residents will be determined by what they bring to the table rather than what a place like HBH will "do" for them.
