This was my first time here, and even though I live 45 minutes south I'll definitely be back. The individual tea rooms are small with only a few tables, so definitely make a reservation just in case. The decor is cute and cozy, and chairs are unexpectedly comfortable. Staff is very friendly. I wasn't expecting such a small place to have great food or tea, but they really do. Everything was delicious! I have to disagree with the reviews saying this place is overpriced - I got the Grand Lady ($30), which included a pot of tea (same as the $4 pot, I believe), a HUGE scone, and assorted savories (4), tea sandwiches (6), and desserts (4). This is a ton of food and tea, more than enough for two people, possibly three if you're light eaters. I'm not, and I still took home half my scone and two thirds of my tea tray. $10-15 per meal is not bad at all. A couple criticisms: I felt like there were too many tea leaves in my pot - it started to get quite bitter past 30 minutes. With a friend, I'm sure the pot would be finished before then, but if alone, I'd ask them to steep only half a pot at a time. Also, the takeaway containers are unfortunately made of styrofoam. Overall I had a fun and relaxing time, and the tea and food were great. I'll be recommending this place to all my tea-loving friends.
