I truly commend the folks that work here. Our 13 yr old boxer/pit got out last week..she was gone all day. We recieved a call from the humane society notifying us that they had our Boots. So we went on down and after pprwork one of the staff took us to the lost dog section. We walked up n down the aisles and it broke my heart to see all the furbabies locked in kennels. Surrendered OLD weiner dogs,little fluffy tiny dogs,dogs so scared wth such sad eyes...it made me so sad that i was crying by the time we found our boots. I told the staff member...how do u do it? How do u come in here everyday and see these poor dogs looking so sad and scared? I told her,i couldnt do it..i was so upset from just one visit. She simply said..i do it for the dogs..they need us..and taking care of them is bigger and way more important than my silly human saddness. God bless these ppl...they are true heroes!!
