I ve been to King s Gap many times, biked up to the top, and enjoyed the view. Tried the hiking trails for the first time and was disappointed. The blaze markings are very faded & hard to see. Also, the next blaze isn t visible from the one you re at. I always thought that was the standard for trail marking. Two trails, both using yellow blazes, intersected with no signage & I ended up far from where I intended. I ended up walking back up the road rather than trusting the trail markers.
