Where to start? I will not being staying here again. I'm a long term Marriott customer, staying 50+ nights a year in hotels. I picked Aloft since it was close to the Buffalo Airport and the Courtyard was sold out. At checkin they had to swipe my credit card for "incidentals". I reserved and paid with my credit card and showed my ID, that should be enough and has been at all other Marriott properties. When was the last time you used incidentals at a hotel?

The room was spacious but poorly laid out and had a dated feeling. The bed was so soft it almost sinks to the floor. They had an apartment size ironing board with an iron that had burnt on starch and polyester from other guests. I should have checked before ironing my white shirt.

I usally dont write negative reviews, but I felt I had to warn others of making the same mistake. There are plenty of choices in the area and I'd suggest any of the Marriott choices over this Aloft.
