They told me I could call when I got home to check...

They told me I could call when I got home to check the care of my fur baby. When I arrived home I found other means that could be added to his diagnoses. The nurse came to the phone and abruptly told me that, "he's in the same state he was and hour ago" before I could tell her that he had not eaten his breakfast that morning where I found vomit on the floor. He died that morning. I understand his death, but no one should be rushed off the phone when their fur baby is in someone's hands other than their own. If I want to call every hour, on the hour, I need a professional care facility to act accordingly towards the patient's needs as well as the ones who love that patient. I was left feeling deterred to call again after being met by this approach. No one should be left feeling this way when it comes to the updates of something they love. Call, and kindly demand their time and patience for their knowledge and care for your fur baby. I wish I would have.

I will not be coming back. I hope your nursing staff can be provided with sensitivity training.

Covid-19 is effecting everyone. Everyone needs to remain patient and kind. Especially your practice of nurses.
