Everywhere we go in Southern California, we always make a point to stop by one of the Nick s restaurants to dine. We just had a great lunch at South of Nick s in San Clemente last week and today we went to Nick s in Manhattan Beach for lunch.

This location has Great foods and it s in an awesome location. I love their sourdough loaf with Garlic. Crunch skin with soft bead inside. Fried asparagus is a must order. The batter is tasty and crispy. For the main dishes, I ordered the San Francisco cioppino while my wife had the rack of baby back ribs. The Cioppino was full of fish meats, scampi mussels and clams. The soup goes along with it was fantastic. The baby back rib was huge. My wife had half left over to take home.

This location is great as it s just a short walk to Manhattan pier. Great day out to take a walk after lunch.
