Lovely place but can t help feeling that we got the worst room possible and quite disappointed when we were expecting a 4 star place.
Room was right next to reception and main lobby.
They closed a spring loaded fire door overnight, probably to reduce noise from the lobby but it made it worse. Every time someone went through, it spent 5 minutes creaking closed before finally slamming shut.

It s very basic rooms and not 4 stars in my opinion.

No fridge or mini to keep things cold so all the berries and fruit we bought the day before went mouldy.

We then had issues getting an iron. Spoke to 2 chambermaids who wouldn t help and had to pester reception twice in person as they never answer the phone from the room.
