Louvre is monumental, both in its size, and its importance to art, history, and culture. It is the greatest collection of human expression on earth. The funny thing is that the most famous work in it, Monalisa, is the least interesting one in my opinion. Check out other Da Vinci's works, the Mesopotamian collection of artifacts, the paintings related to the French revolution, greek sculptures, etc!
