There was 4 people in total in my group in which stayed at the hotel durring the week of September 25th, 2017
Durring our stay we had many unpleasant inconvinences. First begining with us being under the impression that it being all inclusive an with us paying off our trip prior to our arrival in Nassau, Bahamas at Breezes that everything was covered and taken care of, but Upon arrival we had to pay 200$ worth of deposits that they took for a room deposit This was unmentioned to us and was unknown of and could only be put on a debit card, Thankfully I had a card on me or we wouldnt of be able to do that. Secondly we waited 3 hours to be checked in to our room at the location because they where not ready for us upon our arrival. Durring this time we sat miserablly in the heat, with all our luggage.
After checking us in they informed us they didnt have rooms even on the same floor as eachother nor did they have us set up in a King bedroom, and a Double bed room as requested throught the agency while booking. We had to fight to get the proper beds, althought we still ended up on differnet floors. Once we began to explore and try to enjoy our trip other things came up. We were told this was a 4star resort durring booking. Unfortunately we werent pleased. Each bar area was open to us and inclusive but they were dirty and smelled like raw sewage making the bar area a place we didnt want to drink from, which again led to an expense out of pocket because we had to go buy our liquor from the local liquor store and pay cost of transportation to do so. The smell was awful surrounding both bar areas an lingered throughout the trip, that is completely unsanitary. While booking we were informed there was 4 all inclusive resturants in the facility for us to dine at. Unfortunatly we were not told that 3 of these where only open on certain days out of the week, and for 3 hours between the hours of 6-9pm, and that it is first come first serve with a 8item limited menu with very small portions. We basically only had access to the outdoor bar grill which consisted of hotdogs, hamburger, conch fritters and a crab salad and fries. The morning buffet for breakfast was always cold, and old. Again leading us to have to eat outside the facility and spending more money. The facility took pride in their nightlife clubs on the resort, unfortunately durring our stay they werent open, when we asked about this we were told that it mainly is on Friday and saturday nights only, this was frustrating because we were told it would be available to us and very busy and fun, again leading us to the city to spend more money in serach of nightlife entertainment.
Durring our stay we also encountered issues with room service, the room I stayed in was cleaned 2x in the course of the entire week, despite me leaving a room vacant please clean sign on the door. Constantly I had to search for cleaning women to locate fresh towels and wash rags and room ammenitys which became a nusance. The air conditioner was also broken in our room causing everything to become moist and damp including our personal belongings and even the bed because it was running moisture and not getting cold when addressed with staffing they said it was turned on wrong and they corrected it, although the problem continued to occur at this point we gave up and dealt with the moisture all over everything. These were just some of the issues we encountered. This was a huge dissapointment to us because we were all so excited prior to the trip, but felt very mislead and upset after encountering all these issues and more. We wouldnt reccomend this location to anyone in our future. This trip all in all cost us way more than what was intended and wasnt as relaxing as it should have been. I would highly reccomend spending your hard earned money elsewhere!
