It took me three hours on Monday July 28 just to make a service appointment as I received the post card that my part was in for the recall on the ignition. I called and they kept putting me on hold. One lady answered and I tried to tell her I was scheduling a service appointment and that my parts were there for the recall. She put me on hold then transferred me to someones voice mail. My husband received the call and the woman said something about an appointment on Thursday July 31. My husband was highly upset because he had no clue what was going on and had a dr appointment on Thursday as he recently had back surgery. He called me I called Jim Butler back the woman wanted to put me on hold again and is told her NO!! I just need to make an appointment and further more she had called the wrong phone number AFTER the fact I gave them the correct phone number to begin with. My appointment was FINALLY scheduled for today August 1. I took the car in, the man greeted me asked me my name and what I was there for. I told him he said have a seat in the waiting room and the service advisor will be with you. I was planning on dropping the car off and my husband was there to pick me up. After 45 minutes of sitting in the waiting room I was getting annoyed. We then went out to the service area where they told me they were still working on the car. I said well I had a question for the service advisor about the keys AND I WAS NOT GOING TO WAIT ON THE CAR I WAS DROPPING IT OFF THATS WHY MY HUSBAND FOLLOWED ME UP HERE!!!! So after it was finally finished we WERE going to try to see about financing a new or used car and trading our Cobalt in. After standing in the showroom for about 10 minutes no sales men came around , however there were 2 or 3 just standing around talking about their PRETTY HAWAIIAN SHIRTS!!!! We left. Needless to say I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CAR FROM JIM BUTLER!!!! The service department is a joke to try to get in!!
