One of the worst medical Insurance provider i have dealt with!
Purchased individual insurance for my daughter thru credit card,
process was simple while purchasing it... A link for payment was received on the email and i did pay the required amount. Found after a month, card was charged Three times the price ... Contacted them, they had no clue what went wrong at their end. There was no apology, not contacted at all. Chased them thru email and the only reply i got was that they are processing refund which i should expect after a month via cheque. After a month, I was asked to collect and i did. Found that I received AED 40 less than I was expecting. They explained it was VAT charges, paid for what?.. again no explanation... Just yesterday I had to use insurance for my daughter who was ill. Went to the clinic reception and i found the Insurance is INACTIVE!! I called, one of their staff whose number was available, he simply said, cant help you and dont call me on my day off. tried reaching customer service by call but no one to answer the call. The only possibility is to visit their office and catch them at front but again managing a time out from office during the working hours is too difficult. I will NEVER recommend Takaful Emarat which is a worst worst company in UAE.
