I had made the wrong choice of solar installer. I had a "working" system, but I knew it wasn't earthed properly, connections were dubious, DC wiring insulation was stripping, fusing was wrong ... lots of issues. I called Ethos. Shane came to review my system, gave me a comprehensive list of problems, and shortly thereafter gave me a quote to rectify them all, plus install some new panels. And do you know what: they did just that, in the time estimated and for the price quoted! My system is now safe, secure, and larger. Plus I got to work with Shane and the Ethos team, which was a blast.

How often is it that someone says "this work, this time, this price" and then does it? That's what happened for me, snow and creek crossings notwithstanding. Their work was neat, clean, and sympathetic to our house and needs. They clearly understand both grid-tied and off-grid systems such as mine. I look forward to continuing to work with Ethos as I learn more and more about living off grid.
