Lamazere is a wonderful, small, French restaurant directly in front of the Charlottenburg train station. What they do, they do it with an ambition and they do it well. The menu changes often, so there is never any chance of getting bored. It is real French cooking, elaborated tastes and textures, beautifully arranged on the dishes. It's not the high, or sometimes even overpriced Haute Cousine fighting for Michelin Stars. It's just high quality, fair priced French cooking. Have been there about a dozen times, never got the slightest blues. The red (yes:red! ) Sancerre wine they serve was a great discovery if you prefer a lighter shade than what Parker style wines have to offer.
