Wanted to like the Ivy, yet found it uneven. Shouldn't be in the Luxury Collection category. It took room service one hour to deliver my meal (a ceasar salad, no drinks, no dessert) and although the front desk staff and hotel manager resolved it later, it shouldn't have happened. Lots of hallway and neighbor noise, even after I specifically asked for a quiet room prior to my arrival via the spg app. (The hotel was not crowded, so how about putting me at the end of a hallway where no one else is staying - I'd actually prefer that over hearing doors opening/closing and random banging noises). Beds very firm to the point of uncomfortability. Breakfast meal in Monello was very good, yet I had coffee spilled all over me and my work papers. My overall experience at the Ivy was disappointing.
