I love this place been here a few times but unfortunately today I was a little disappointed with the way a farm worker treated me and my son. The workers name was Tom he was roughly 30y.o and today was in charge of the Guinea pig cuddling session. So when Tom was explaining how to trwt the Guinea pigs my 19month old son got very excited and let out a cpl of excitement squeals when this happened Tom gave me a very nasty stare so seeing that he was bothered I moved my son away until he was finished speaking. Once he finished I took my son back in to the circle where he got to pat the Guinea pig a couple of times until it was time for Tom to pass it around to the next child which was totally fine by me unfortunately my son didn't feel the same way and began to cry (he's little he doesn't understand) yet again Tom looked at me as if in disgust at the same time ripping the Guinea pig from in front of us and turned his back as if to protect the Guinea pig from my sons crying. I was left feeling angry, sad, annoyed but most of all embarrassed really embarrassed.
All I wanted to say to him was that if you don't like children or they bother you etc don't work with them. As far as I'm concerned everyone I know that goes to Collingwood children's farm goes to show their kids the farm animals so it's pretty much guaranteed that you will be working with/around kids all day..
I would say it was a perfect day out if it wasn't for that incident, that is also why I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5 out of 5..
