Salero Kito is one of the few Indonesian restaurants in Melbourne CBD.
This place brings the auntheticity of Padang food from Indonesia to Australia.
It's humbly looking restaurant located pretty hidden inside the Tivoli Arcade, the place is very spacious and they do have outdoor and indoor option.
We'd say it's the best among other similar Indonesian restaurants.
The customer service was nice and friendly.

We order:
- 1 rice + 3 choice of dishes (Beef Rendang, Spicy Eggplant and Cassava Leafs Stew) for $12.00.
- 1 rice + 2 choice of dishes (Beef Rendang and Tendon Curry) for $11.00.

* The beef rendang wasn't the best we've ever tried. The taste was alright, but the beef was slightly tough.
* We loved the tendon curry, it was perfectly cooked and had rich taste.
The tendon was very tender, soft and smooth.
* Cassave Leafs were really good, it had rich taste and flavourful.
* The spicy eggplant wasn't our liking as it was very bland and tasteless. It was very oily as well.

One thing we noticed that portion wasn't very consistent, it totally depends on who's working on that day.
Some time you could get generous portion and another time you will only get small portion of rice and dishes.

Overall, we still had great time having lunch in this Indonesian restaurant.
