We went to eat here today but this was very disappointing. Maybe we had too high expectations, but since the Google reviews were very high, we thought it would be a good idea to eat something at Hoog Holten. On the phone I indicated that I would like to eat for 4 people, then I was told on the phone that we got a place downstairs, I asked a second time if we could not sit upstairs. This was not responded to and we had to sit at BBQ BIRD which was downstairs. Since it was rainy today we sat inside. It was not busy but I happened to hear the same problem with another (that we were more or less obliged to sit down) the starter was very tasty, hence 2 stars, main course was very disappointing for the four of us. We were not asked how we wanted the meat, after we had eaten it we asked what the reason was. This was because the cook supposedly knew very well how to prepare it. The meat was much raw. The meat would also be prepared on the BBQ, the name says it (BBQ BIRD) but this has not happened. Again, we have paid a lot and received little in return (qualitative and in large) we have also indicated this, but nothing was done with this either. Not even an apology from them.
