This place is a shocker. Like no other church you've been to before. The building itself is so comfortable in it's familiarity (more like a conference center than a 'church'), but it's the people that make it something special. They genuinely seem excited to have you there withiut the creepiness of over-eagerness (think friendly Apple store staff), they seem to love being ghere themselves, they bring creativity to whatever they're working on (guest services to the band to the book store, etc...). The teaching was relevant to life and it seemed to suit every stage od adulthood equally well - and it was engaging and inspiring. This place compels you to come again to see what they're gonna do next, and it's a wonderful blend of feeling 'seen' but being able to sort of be a fly on the wall while you're trying to check it out.

And I don't have kids, but those sections of the building seemed like, I don't know, a teensy version of Disneyland?!? There were 3D trees and false fronts of thematic buildings go make it feel a bit like Main Street, and the place was buzzing with energy, and they're handing out candy at the door...if I thought we adults had it good I our experience, I think they're kids might be where it's at. Even from a distance it was stunning what was happening over there.
