Attended the former LTSP (Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia) during 2014-2016 and lived on campus one year.
Now the institution is known as ULS (United Lutheran Seminary) after combining with Gettysburg Seminary, one seminary with two campuses. It is likely the Philadelphia campus will be closed and sold by 2020.
The Philadelphia seminary was slated to lose its accreditation, forcing the merger.

Do not live on campus! There are no meal options and no cafeteria!!
The corruption and nepotism at this institution are truly shocking and dismaying.

Please, this review is a pleading attempt to steer you away from this seminary, and to steer you away from the ELCA.

Unless you are given a 100% scholarship tp include tuition, insurance, and room and board (or housing and stipend) do not consider matriculating at ULS. Even if given a free scholarship, really pray for discernment because ULS is perhaps one of the worst institutions for higher education in the entire nation.
