I recently bought an Itravl2 translator which, out of the box didn't work. It would only translate English, not Spanish. They had me erase offline translation and reinstall it. It now worked. I flew to mexico for business and it did not work off-line!!! I couldn't reach ectaco. After I returned to the USA I contacted them and they said they'd send a new unit. I marked my unit with 2 dots of magic marker. Received my new unit with the same marks. Called and confronted them and at first they said it was brand new. After I told them of my markings they said that they put a new program on it. Out of the box again, it did not work. It said that speech recognition was having difficulties. The guy on the phone told me to try it for a few days and that he has very satisfied customers. I will never buy from or refer anyone to these crooks! Take a peak at the better business bureau rating before you buy.
