I wholeheartedly DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel.
I was staying multiple times at FourPoints Pune in late 2019.
The managers Mr. Akshay (and Mr. Jitendra) failed so many times to: provide expected cutomer service, solve the problems created by hotel staff, provide compensation.
Below there is a list of some situations in which Four Points Pune failed so badly.
1) Not respecting do not disturb hanger. Hotel staff trying to enter the room despite visible do not disturb hanger on the door
2) Wellness employee rejecting to open the gym which, according to information on the website and in Marriott Bonvoy app should be open 24 hours (the only situation for which I was offered complimentary amenity service compensation)
3) The gym being foggy and smelly due to malfunction of kitchen ventilation system. Apparently there is nothing wrong to workout in the fumes of burnt oil.
4) The invoices were issued wrongly, and were not corrected despite multiple requests. Only the call to Marriott Bonvoy helped to solve this issue.
5) They tried to charge me for the drinks or snacks that I was entitled to as part of the lounge benefit.
6) Very often towels were full of stains and room was dusty.
7) During breakfast most of the time no one cared to offer me tea/coffee (there is no self service tea station)
8) They failed to return laundry to agreed time next day. I was left with no shirts to go to the office.
9) The hotel transportation was not ready for the pre-agreed time.
The managers were always politely saying they are sorry, and they will improve but were not able to put their words into action. Managers were helpless and they keep on braking their promises.
The stays were both stressful and unpleasant for me for most of the time. Please stay away from this place unless you do not have other option.
