I had to take my child to pediatric emergency room...
I had to take my child to pediatric emergency room at Methodist Hospital, since she had high grade fever of 103F for the past few days. None of the doctors came to see my daughter. So the nurse practitioner by the name of Meagan Carley was taking my child's vitals. When she took otoscope to check my child's ears, (I dont know what school she went to or where she did her internship) she pulled my daughter's ear and inserted otoscope all the way in and made my daughter screamed from the pain she caused. Then she decided to clean her ear with a plastic stick (God knows why) and also inserted way too deep (she could of damaged the ear membrane). The diagnosis that she put on discharge paper was just Fever. The next day we went to our pediatrician who diagnosed my child right away with totally different diagnosis. My daughter saw otoscope in our pediatrician's office and screamed because the NP (Meagan) already caused damage and fear and phobia which my child never had. My daughter never cried in our pediatrician office because everything was done professionally. When our doctor saw my child's ear she confirmed that it was scratched inside. So please if you ever in Methodist pediatric ER and you see this name of the nurse practitioner that I mentioned above please be careful and ask for someone else.
