The worst hotel experience I ever had. The staff is untrained and had a bad attitude. My family and I decided to stay here after my wedding, but the happy mood was ruined, because a bad attitude cooking staff yell at one of the family member, also a gentleman behind us.
I asked for an explanation and apology, but since we have a travel schedule to follow, so the restaurant reception asks for our room number and told us they will look into this matter.
When we back to the hotel around 9 PM, there is no note or any sort of record in the hotel system regarding this matter. The staff at the check-in desk promise to give us an apology the next morning when we enter the restaurant.
When we are having our breakfast the next morning, THERE ARE NO ACTION or any sort of apology from hotel staff. I felt disappointed with all the staff in Millennium Hilton Bangkok, and ask the check-in desk what is going on again.
Finally, the executive chef came to apologize, but with no sincerity, and vague explanation. I ask to speak with the hotel manager, the executive chef told me the manager is not in the hotel, and he can handle this matter, but apparently, I been waiting for 1 day 1 night, there is no action until I get angry. The executive chef offered me a complimentary lunch for two, but I felt humiliated. I choose Millennium Hilton Bangkok because it is a 5-star hotel, the staff should be well trained for any situation, but the staff has failed to do the basic service job. All I want is "Sorry" at the start of this matter, but all I got is disappointment and humiliation.
My wife complained to the front desk about the humiliation feeling we got during the second breakfast morning. The Assistant front office manager told us to write an email to them instead of getting our contact information. So at this point, I'm pretty sure they don't care about the foreign guest because there is no action needs to be done after the foreign guest goes back to there country. Moreover, we live in Bangkok, they also seem to have no intention to contact us later.
The happy Bangkok wedding family trip was totally destroyed by the hotel, and the staff made my wife cried at the front desk, until this point, the staff said: "sorry sorry, you want some cake?"
I had enough, don't want to listen to any more nonsense and left the hotel. This hotel deserves ZERO star rating.
