I drive a 2018 Nissan Rogue. I came in to get a part fixed on my car that was still under warranty. I called ahead and set an appointment, when I arrived at the service center I asked if this was covered under warranty, they said it should be as my car was still under the "bumper to bumper" warranty (3yrs 36k miles) and that the procedure would be less than an hour. After over an hour of sitting in the lobby they came and told me they wouldn't honor this under warranty because the part that needed to be replaced was broken... which we already knew and was the reason I came in to get it replaced. They assumed, with no evidence, that it had be broken by someone else and wasn't a manufacture defect. I have four of these parts in my vehicle, three of which work fine, however this one does not, it sounds like a manufacturer defect to me. I purchased the car used and have no record of previous work done on the vehicle. They said the repair would be a little over $200. I told them no thanks and that I would go somewhere else. I'm still waiting for my car maybe I'll be out of here before the two hour mark.

Update - After nearly two hours, the came back and gave me my keys and walked out the service entrance door. The associate had no idea where my car was parked and pointed toward a sea of nissan cars and said he thought it was somewhere over there.

Great service guys, thanks a lot.
