My parents have investments with Vanguard which we have been attempting to transfer into a trust fund. This simple process has taken over 9 months; multiple, lengthy phone calls; and more hoops to jump through than I can say. My experience with this investment firm has shown them to be inept, incompetent, and disorganized. Each phone call connects you to a new processor who has to review the prior notes and counsel you on his/her perceived course of action. This last step comes after multiple off line conversations with other colleagues, and after long drawn out hold times. I have never been more frustrated with a company and less confidant of their ability to handle investments.
