Must see attraction in St Louis. Don't be a dud, you gotta go see it. The museum is really nice and it is free! Take the hour you need to wander through it. It is really well done. You will learn alot more than you ever thought about St Louis area and the history of the arch. Make sure to reserve your tickets ahead of time or purchase them online. It sells out very fast every day. Get them day ahead or early in morning. Great view. Couple of notes to take into consideration. First the trip up and down the arch is really measured in minutes, so you don't need alot of time to make the trip (again spend some time int he museum). Second the elevators are really small and only hold 5 per (there are 8 of them) ,but they move pretty quick. If you re claustrophobic, checkout the elevator display in the lobby. Note that there are windows in the doors, so you can see out into the arch as you go up and down. This should help a great deal if you are claustrophobic, as you get a much larger presence with that view. Also it is literally only 4 minutes ride up and 3 minute ride down. Also if you are a very large person...this is going to really tough for you. Again check out the lobby display.
