I was hospitalized for a week (7 days), I fell out...
I was hospitalized for a week (7 days), I fell out of the shower, in my room, from the floor being soaked with water, because the shower curtain had about 5 inches of gap on each side, the water constantly went onto floor. Now there were approximately 25 patients and at least half of them told staff about the shower curtains. They were not repaired. So anyhow, I asked to go see a doc, they said the doc will be in, in the morning. Gave me ice/hot packs, flexeril, nothing to kill any pain. Asked a nurse to check my vitals, as I felt chest pain and I do have congestive heart failure. So nurse decidesto call down stairs to see if I needed another evaluation to be held, so I then have to wait this other person to get where we are. So in the meantime, the nurse asked me "are you just wanting us to take you to the hospital?", I said of course not, I can't afford this place much less a hospital bill too. So once they have the lady to come over and reevaluate me. Once they decided that I am okay and not needing to be strapped in or whatever it is, that happens. The nurses ask again, how are you now. I said I still have pain in my chest and now its radiating my neck and down my left arm. So finally the nurse that didn't believe me says "okay going to get ambulance to come get you and send you to the hospital. No, it wasn't my heart, but if it had been, I could've died!
