One of my favorite places to visit in colorado. So many things to do and it really never seems to be that crowed. The camp grounds fill fast. The sand gets very hot in the mid day sun in the summer, so much it will burn your feet. Besure to have shoes and socks with you when you hike the dunes. If you want to sled the dunes in the summer the cheap thin long sleds that Wal-Mart sales works the best.
