For Houston to be one of the largest cities in the country you would think they'd have a great zoo. But I've been to better. It is a lot of walking so be prepared however not really impressed with half their animal exhibits. We took our daughter for her 2nd birthday. Wasn't much to see. The kids part was ok but no petting zoo that day. She did get to feed the giraffes which she liked.
