I've been going here for 9 years. I have a horrible back, constantly huge shoulder knots, and always require deep tissue massage. Massages are not a luxury for me, they are a necessity to relieve pain. I am loyal to my therapists, but when they eventually move on, I am always trying out new ones until I find one that can give my problematic body the relief it needs. I never have to look too hard, all the therapists are great, even when they don't do what I need, I know they are doing a great job and it's just my body that is problematic. I try a new therapist until something clicks. I know all my issues (including 10 fractures from 4 years ago) make me a more difficult client, but none of the therapists have ever complained or given less than their best. I have only gone to a different massage parlor once, for an anniversary, and it was mediocre at best. The talent at Art of Touch is amazing and it will continue to be the only place I go to (even if I have an anniversary) from now on. The other day I met with a new therapist (my regular lady left about a year ago), who offered me a free trial with hot bamboo. It worked wonders. I doubt I'd have tried it otherwise and I am happy to say I have found my new therapist! I hope she is here for many years to come!
