So let me start with I did not want to like Carats...

So let me start with I did not want to like Carats. It wasn't them, it was me. I grew up listening to antiestablishment Punk yet loved anything by Ayn Rand just so I could pick it apart and always based, my identity on not following "popular trends". I prefer to discover hidden gems and unique treasures over wearing Chanel baubles and the kitschy Rolexes my grandparents sported. That is until Carlos & Saul, the owners of Carats aka The Carats Boys, helped my husband scour the earth for the perfect opal stone to gift me for Xmas. I fell in love, but still, I reluctantly went to Carats to fashion the stone into something exquisite. Carlos took the time to listen to what I liked and, together, we collaborated in creating a design that was uniquely perfect for me. I'm ashamed to admit, it did NOT end there. Saul had been showing me different designs prior to Carlos' arrival, and he then presented me with something delicious. Unbeknownst to them, I had been on the hunt for a London Blue Topaz for the past two years and there sat an heirloom quality, masterfully cut, natural, cornflower blue stone that much like a siren's call, seduced me to dive into it's cool blue - a gift from me to me. At this point, I may as well start wearing a Carats t-shirt. Hands down impressed with this Dynamic Duo!
