We boarded our dog with Best in Show a few times. The last stay was for 10 days.
When we came to pick him up, we asked how he did during the 10 days that he was there. We assumed he did well, since we did not receive any phone calls. The response was that he did great. We paid our $1,100.00 bill and left.
A week later, I called to book a suite for an overnight stay and was put on a waiting list. Then a message was left for me, informing me that my dog is no longer allowed to stay in suites. I called back and spoke with Joseph. I was told that my dog was very anxious during his 10 day stay, damaged the metal railing and had to be moved to a different suite because he was a danger to himself.
We never got an answer why we were not notified of this during our pet s stay or when we picked him up.

We don t appreciate the deception and lack of communication.

They lied to us and happily took our $1,100.00.
We will NEVER board our dog with Best in Show in Mineola.
