I started using SpotHero in Chicago in the summertime. After using it a few times, it's now my go-to way to visit the city. I can always find a spot in/near the loop for less than a round trip (weekday) Metra ticket. If you're on their email list, they sometimes send 10-15% codes, as well.

I decided to write this review because I recently reserved a spot but when I arrived there was a city construction crew working on a gas line. After finding out I couldn't park there, I called the SpotHero customer support line and they quickly helped find another (better) spot and took care of it all behind the scenes while I was driving. I didn't have to do anything and the upgrade was at no cost to me. The app is easy to use and I'm glad to support a local Chicago company.
