I am a regular user of your sister hotel, EDSA Shang. They were full for part of my recent trip so I used this hotel.

Challenges I endured that to me are not worthy of a 5 star hotel and a loyal member of their Golden Circle program:
1. They kept charging us for meals that were included as part of the horizon package, had to get refunded.
2. I had to ask for my JADE level amenities, they are supposed to be put in rooms on arrival.
3. I endured a huge cockroach in my bathroom on arrival. While it was removed by the team, no one then reached back out with any complimentary Golden Circle Points, or anything else. I find that bizarre. I could have just taken a picture and shared on social media as some would do - I trusted they'd take care of me.
4. The prices are not aligned compared to EDSA for what you get. The rooms are dated and both in-room and breakfast food is of poorer quality and less varied than EDSA.
5. Service charge is way higher also than EDSA - why? Service is not better. Seems a very arbtirary add on.
