Short story long,

Short story long,

We got to the hotel and i noticed the ski lifts weren't running. I asked the lady at check in if they'd be turning them on later and she just gave me a dumbfounded look; like i was an idiot.

So we check in, and go to our rooms, but on the way, i notice the place is pretty empty. So i say to my wife, i says, its pretty empty. Anyway, i struggled pretty hard what with my skis, my wife's skis, and my two kids skis (basically nine skis in all) because they kept poking everything on the way up to the room. The elevators dont like to wait for you very long because the door closed whilst i was only just inside and as it went up to our room, well it snapped half of our skis that were still sticking out. Just the back halves though so twasn't as bad as it could have been, still had the fronts to ski with.

Finally get to the room and the wife says, "there's not snow on the hills hun" (she can see the hills out the window, also she calls me hun, which is short for honey. She only calls me hun when she's in a hurry and its important for me to listen so i knew t'was a thing i needed to deal with).

So i run all the way to the phone in the room and called the front desk. I says, theres no snow on the hills and when are you putting snow on them? I told them the brochure had snow, and we paid a lot of money for the stay, and all the lady at the front desk said was it was July. I think she gave me another dumb look on the phone too. I could feel it.

We went to eat at the restaraunt and had to walk through a band playing puff the magic dragon for a bunch of old people or a cult or something (its ok, i covered my kids ears so them wouldn't be charmed). Restaraunt was closed, which i understand it being Sunday ( as Jesus said, "dont feed your children after 3pm on the lords day").

Anyway, we went to wash our clothes in the indoor pond and went to bed.

Won't stay here again.
