Every year my company orders turkeys and hams from palmers - around 30 or so total. We call ahead, order the right quantities, get a lead time and total, and this has worked out great. THIS year, we called at 9am to get a total amount owed for our 30 turkeys and hams and were given an exact number. We had out company cut a check, and then we then drove to Palmers to pick up. Upon arriving, we were told that we actually owed $40 more, because when we were given the numbers on the phone 2 hours earlier, the turkeys had not been weighed. This is simply bad business practice, and we will not be returning next year for our Turkey's & Hams. Don't tell us that the amount is XYZ, and then 2 hours later when we arrive for pickup, tell us that it is actually MORE. Was very sketchy, and not at all what i expect from an always professional place like Palmer's.
