In September of 2017 I had an early morning appointment. I waited in the waiting room for over 2 hours for a follow-up exam. I finally had to reschedule all my morning meetings. When I got in too see the dermatologist, the appointment took 10 minutes at most. He asked why I had waited so long and the nurse said there was a front desk error.

When I went to pay, I let them know how displeased I was with their mistake and felt that I should be compensated for my wait. Any other service establishment would take care of customers that were unsatisfied by mistakes made on the establishments part. After talking to the Office Manager, she agreed that they would take care of my outstanding costs and I left as a satisfied customer.

6 months later, I received a bill for the appointment. I called to find out why I was billed and I asked to speak to the Office Manager. She was busy at the moment and the attendant said she would call me back. I have since received another bill ever 60 days and have made 2 more calls. Still no call back.

It is ridiculous that these offices get to charge hundreds of dollars for appointments regardless of services rendered on behalf of the doctor and the office. I will never go back and I would hope more people expect the same level of services as they would for a fine dining restaurant.

The fact that they said they would take care of the costs and turned around to bill me was disgraceful.
