Was having issues with my Lennox central a/c unit. Called them as they are an authorized dealer.

Paid $112 just for them to come out and diagnose the problem.

Was told that the compressor fan motor needed to be replaced. They ran the serial number and unit is only halfway into its 5 year warranty, so part would be fully covered, just not the labour.

Asked how much it would be for the install and was told about $100. They said they needed to order the part and I would be called the next day to schedule a time for them to come.

Received a call from someone named Luke the next day and they quoted me $338 just for the install!!!! I told him I was quoted $100 the previous day and he basically shrugged it off and said I was misquoted and that is the price.

Very unprofessional! I would suggest you avoid this place if you don't want to be lied to. And $450 just to have a fan motor changed that's covered under warranty and not costing them anything for the part is an absolute ripoff!

If you enjoy parting with your money, proceed with them. Otherwise, go elsewhere to someplace that will actually value their customers and stand behind their word.

IN RESPONSE TO OWNERS REPLY: The unit already has warranty remaining on it. What good is your guarantee for an additional 365 days? So you can charge additional fees to send someone out if there is an issue with your install to diagnose the problem? Like I suggest to everyone, avoid this place, they are a ripoff. Being quoted $100 by one employee one day and then being told $338 by another employee the very next day is deceptive and unprofessional. Who knows how else they will mislead their customers...
