The staff withheld info, lied and do not care about animal welfare! Nor does they're Director Deb Lewis. Very disappointed

About a month ago I adopted two cats. A 5 month old female and a 12 year old male.
As it turns out the older cat was up for adoption with a medical disclosure! This Medical disclosure was NOT mentioned to me at any point. My cat needs 4 teeth removed and is in pain. He had almost died due to a reaction to anesthesia at the shelter so they chose to abort the surgery. This condition will not be cured once the teeth are removed, It will continue onto the other teeth.

I contacted the shelter to complain about not having been told about this condition and asking for help to pay for the problem. Seemed the least they could do since they had handed me a problem without warning. They lie and say that I was made aware prior to adoption. Untrue. I was told by the manager Jenny to "just bring the cat back and they would give me a new one." At this point my family is already emotionally attached to the cat and willing to pay future medical bills, That was an unfair option.

After many unsuccessful calls to the Director, Deb Lewis, I finally heard back. She was unkind and straight to the point. A "sponsor" was found to pay the dental bill. I was to bring the cat back and they would find another home for our cat. In my opinion, this is emotional blackmail!!
The next interaction with Deb involved her being rude, uncompromising and her hanging up on me.

A mistake was made on their end. All I ask is make it right and staff learn from it.

My family was deemed a good fit for this cat by shelter employees, whom come with the highest regards from Deb Lewis. This being the case and sponsor being available there should be no problem fixing his dental problems and sending him back home. But no...

WHAT ARE THEY HIDING?
