Check in was delayed by 40 mins because our room wasn t ready. There is a bit of false economy as everything seems to be a charged as an extra including entrance to the spa before 5pm (but I guess we should have read the small print).

There is not very good sound insulation in the rooms and the fire doors tend to slam even with best efforts to prevent them from doing so. The result is something akin to living with 20 stroppy teenagers constantly slamming their bedrooms doors.

Wasn t really the relaxing trip we were after.

Location is nice though, the lake is beautiful.
