I had such a bad experience with them. A few of the problems included

1. Broke a really expensive side table. When packing I told them to be careful with it and they said "don't worry we treat everything as fragile". Ii noticed the next day while unpacking that it was missing. They swore that they had delivered it but after a few days eventually found it broken in their storage facility in pieces! That was after at least 5 phone calls where they repeatedly denied having it. James told me afterwards that I should have i told the movers it was expensive. I replied that I did!! He initially offered to buy a new one as replacement but when he found out the price he said that they are only a family run business and can't afford to reimburse me for that table.

2. Packing they quoted my 5 hrs with 2 men. It took 9 hours and only with my help! We had a deadline to vacate our home so I had to help. I was working just as hard if not harder than the other movers. I paid movers so that I could AVOID lifting things myself.

3. Rather than roll up the rugs first before moving the furniture out they trampled all over them. Cost several thousand to wash all the rugs after the move

4. Broke a tv stand. Said they would repair it. Took a whole month for someone to come by to glue it.

5. Broke several book shelves

6. Several boxes (luckily just shoes) never did arrive

7. Worst part about it was the customer service and how james never took any responsibility for what happened. Blamed me for not telling movers my furniture was really expensive.

Almost forgot- they dragged a dresser along my new hardwoods and put huge gouges in it. Eventually took almost 6-8 weeks to repair but it looks terrible. Even though I have extra floorboards they wouldn't replace the damaged area with new floorboard. Put ugly filler on it and it looks horrible. The repair guy was even more flaky than James. Repeatedly cancelled his appointment before finally showing up. I recently had a bed moved from white glove movers. They dropped a screwdriver and damaged my floor. They sent someone in the next day to repair and it's barely noticeable. The difference in customer services was night and day between the two!

Would NEVER recommend to anyone. Was so disappointed.
