Full hook-ups for a good price near Crater Lake.

Full hook-ups for a good price near Crater Lake.

Sites/setting:
Sites are very narrow with little outdoor living space.

Many sites are partially separated by trees/wood patches. Gravel pads, ours was fairly level.

Many long term residents. Some of which do not seem to have any standards/regulations set that they need to follow. Tarps were used to cover their campers, piles of other storage items, 4-wheelers, etc. One resident had at least 6 bags of trash outside their camper during our entire 3-night stay. One of these residents was our next door neighbor, so we had a nice view of a pile of junk covered by tarps (see picture).

Amenities/Utilities:
All sites have picnic tables. You can have a fire ring delivered to your site with wood for $10.50; HOWEVER, make sure you have a site that they allow fires. There are about 5 sites that you cannot have a fire (including ours- site 19)

WiFi was available, but i could only get it to work (slowly) when I was outside. I did not have cell service while there either.

Prospect was only a mile away and had a gas station (with diesel opened 8am-8pm), a small grocery/country store, and a couple restaurants.

I did not see a laundry facility, but I may have missed it.

No dog park or doggie bags provided.

Activities:
There is access to the river, but we didn t have a chance to check it out.

It took us about 45 minutes to get to Crater Lake s south entrance and a little over an hour to get to the north side.

Natural Bridge was only about 10 minutes away.

No military discount offered.

My rating was based on the site we were given and our experience there. I honestly think we got a bum spot and could have enjoyed our stay more in a different site.
